29/1/13 grease rehearal

today in class we started from the begining of grease, and went though to after summer nights, we had sorted up to there ruffly with scripts, in the week, up to this lession we had to know our lines up to summer nights, i did learn my lines up to there in the week but in lession i still held my script for comfort.

the begining song Rydell

is going pritty well i think im not clear on all the words yet but almost there the exitworks well, one by one we exit off up stage in criss-cross.

The Greasers song

this song is not really progressing its messy and they are un-sure of thier lines. it needs more energy and singing.

scene two

 the chractors are clear, you can tell whats going on, i think both partys need to know ques of when to talk after the other. most people still needed thier scripts.

summer nights

needs alot of work, ques, works, energy, movement
i get stuck on my solo line i find it high pitched and where everyones just sat un-energetic im finding it hard i will get it,but currently open my mouth and nothing comes out.

last lession we went slowly though the begining scenes, staging and correnting emotions and expressions, this lession we went straight though them scenes and from here we went slowly staging est..

end of scene 2

when sandy and danny meet again positoning is abit ruff, when sandy gets throw forwards in to danny that needs cleaning up

positioning,lines, movement

those magic changes

i thinks going well, we have choregrapghed a sutal dance that suots the style of music sutal clicking, swaying, boping, ending needs a good pose.

scene 4

needs more movement but is already funny and entertaining (girly banter between them) lines

i dont yet have the cd so i hadnt heard this song before so i was unsure of what i was doing, i need to get this cd and lishen and pratice, i need to play along with the song the girlys are being all dreamy over a guy.

scene 5

grease lightnin needs work but i did not see this song

this week

i need to get this cd and pratice. also i need to go over new next lot of works. i need to bulit my confidence to sing my line in summer nights.
