Creating Frenchy in my own way
Frenchy is a bubbley air head in the film, but in the script frenchy is more emotional and caring.
I'm creating my own frenchy but using the script way, not making frenchy to shallow and creating more emotional person in Act One, Frenchy's in the back of the group of the girls, shes there but does not draw attenction to herself. In Act Two, Frenchy shows her emotional side in her monologe and talking to the boys before they go fight. Frenchy is thier friend that they can talk to and have a serious convosation.

act two scene one
in todays lession we went from act two, it was the first time we went through act two so it was scatchy, act two scene one starts with the greaser coming up through the center of the audience singing "shakin at the high school hop" they are perparing for the school dance that takes place on the stage where then the hand jive starts, we went through the dance ruffly with lines, correcting where everyone stands, our lines need to be louder for this scene because there will be music in the background, the lines need to be quicker as well because we needed to play the music 2,3 times.
act two scene two
frenchy starts on stage in her own littlie world, down about droping out of beauty school, when is joined but kenickie, doody and sonny she is glad to see them she whats to talk to them but thier not very conforting towards her, they they are all distracted by seeing danny running in shorts, frenchy is left alone i need to show more sadness in frenchy in this part before her monologe, i already know the monolog for i learnt it for the audiction so that went well.
we choregrapghed beauty school drop out movements est for the angels, everything looks amazing apart from the walking around in a circle single lined it looks a bit messy but early days. i enjoyed this scene i love being frenchy, the next part is humourous the guys geting ready for a fight with the other gang, it goes from them being angels in beauty school drop out to them throwing them off to being men. i think it works well in a humourous manor.

12/2/13 grease rehearals
12/2/13 grease rehearals
what we did today
we choregrapghed look at me, im sandra
i think its humours it works well how everyone gets involved down the line as rizzo walks back and forth, the incenked movements together movements to go with the lyics.
also today 3 actors swaped thier charactors, so this has changed alot but we went though with them swapped.
we added more movement to the fights again between rizzo and sandy. and rizzo and knickiey.
when a fight brecks out it sould be panicy and everyone grapping the pear away from eachother.
in summer nights we have built up the energy girls more intrested and excitable, ladys more intrested and ramp/ladish.

- decided on who graps rizzo and pulls her back
why
it looked messy and dull with no energy and someone needs to grap rizzo to separate the fight
it now looks more realistic
we went though up to end of act one

29/1/13 grease rehearals
29/1/13 grease rehearal
today in class we started from the begining of grease, and went though to after summer nights, we had sorted up to there ruffly with scripts, in the week, up to this lession we had to know our lines up to summer nights, i did learn my lines up to there in the week but in lession i still held my script for comfort.
the begining song Rydell
is going pritty well i think im not clear on all the words yet but almost there the exitworks well, one by one we exit off up stage in criss-cross.
The Greasers song
this song is not really progressing its messy and they are un-sure of thier lines. it needs more energy and singing.
scene two
the chractors are clear, you can tell whats going on, i think both partys need to know ques of when to talk after the other. most people still needed thier scripts.
summer nights
needs alot of work, ques, works, energy, movement
i get stuck on my solo line i find it high pitched and where everyones just sat un-energetic im finding it hard i will get it,but currently open my mouth and nothing comes out.
last lession we went slowly though the begining scenes, staging and correnting emotions and expressions, this lession we went straight though them scenes and from here we went slowly staging est..

when sandy and danny meet again positoning is abit ruff, when sandy gets throw forwards in to danny that needs cleaning up

i thinks going well, we have choregrapghed a sutal dance that suots the style of music sutal clicking, swaying, boping, ending needs a good pose.
scene 4
needs more movement but is already funny and entertaining (girly banter between them) lines

i dont yet have the cd so i hadnt heard this song before so i was unsure of what i was doing, i need to get this cd and lishen and pratice, i need to play along with the song the girlys are being all dreamy over a guy.
scene 5
grease lightnin needs work but i did not see this song

i need to get this cd and pratice. also i need to go over new next lot of works. i need to bulit my confidence to sing my line in summer nights.

Frenchy is a cheerful friendly teenager who introducts Sandy to the gang.She is abit of an air head who actcidently diys her hair pink. shes a bobaly energetic girly up for a good time with her friends.
